Fall 2011
Secrets from Santa’s Workshop By Becky Tyre

Dear Santa

Place an open mailbox on top of a pedestal and drape it with greenery. Create a spilling-out effect using ornaments and various holiday trims. Feature a single color—in this case, red—for effect, but add a few metallic accents to attract attention. Continue the red trim by placing a few splashes of the color in the greenery on top. Using an old, weathered, oversized mailbox adds to the overall ambiance of the display, but any mailbox will do.

GIFT SHOP thanks Chris Tkachuck, the Director of Visual for the showrooms of Midwest-CBK for sharing her expertise and ideas for these 2011 holiday displays. For more of her ideas, visit the extended article online at giftshopmag.com.
