Easter display inspired by childhood memories:
Hingham – The Easter Bunny has already paid a visit to the Hingham Gift Company, leaving behind an eye-catching and sumptuous “Easter Basket Buffet” for kids of all ages.
Upon entering, customers’ eyes are immediately drawn to the center of the shop, where a splendid array of premium Easter candy — large and small chocolate and marshmallow-filled bunnies, cream- and marshmallow-filled eggs, jelly beans, giant rocky road eggs, all-natural bunny cookies and lollipops, and more — is laid out.
There are also delightful plush bunnies dressed in knitted sweaters and cute mini plush chicks, monkeys, frogs, and puppies, along with specialty kids’ gifts ranging from spring bath gifts to toys and sports items. Small fun basket stuffers — inexpensive gadgets such as cute pencils, pens, coloring books, and bubbles — make nice Easter basket additions.
The shop is located at 61 Water St. in Hingham, beside Bare Cove Gourmet Caterer on the harbor end. The Hingham Gift Company offers a flexible mix of regular retail gift store concepts and ‘build your own gift baskets” for any occasion year-round – all with a personal touch.
The shop features more than 300 “unique, luxurious, and practical” items, which when combined with some of the Easter offerings, make nice Easter baskets for fun-loving adults.
This sumptuous display was inspired by one of shop owner Emily Mondon’s fondest childhood memories of an Easter morning at her grandparents’ house in Greensboro, N.C.
