Gift shop fills a hole on NorwellBy L.E. CrowleyBoston.com

Heading to a house party and need a last-minute gift or looking for a holiday card for that someone special?

If so, Jessica Flynn, the owner of The Gift Shoppe in Norwell Center, says she has what last-minute Nellies need.

“We have something for everyone,” said Flynn, a Milton native who now lives in Norwell and recently moved her Marshfield gift shop to Norwell. Her shop, tucked behind Dunkin’ Donuts and Blue Moon Pizza, fills the last vacancy in the shops at 707 Main St. in Norwell Center.

“We’re trying to defy the economic downturn,” Flynn joked.

Flynn’s shop boasts national-brand gifts such as Crane & Co. stationery, as well as Pennsylvania -made Armetale serving platters and dinner ware, and belts by Scituate artist Kit McCourt.
