Ocala, FL – On June 25, standing ankle deep in the floodwaters and fighting back tears, a discouraged Lacy Rome moved inventory out of Grow Children’s Boutique, not knowing what the future would hold for her month-old shop on Broadway Street. Her mother, Jo Ann Roberson, predicted Rome would start over again. Her mother was right.

On Friday, Rome and her husband, Andrew, reopened the children’s shop at a new downtown location, 21 E. Fort King St.

“We love the location,” Lacy Rome said. “It has so much more a feel of downtown than our last location.”

And the business is off and running.
