Overton, NE – Last October is when Wendy McKenzie first started making her own all-natural, chemical and preservative free soaps with goat milk.

As with any big project, a convergence of events caused her to research ingredients and want to make her own soap – like being alarmed by the ingredient labels of soaps that were filled with chemicals, having friends with sensitive skin avoid store soap and wanting to tackle a new challenge.

“When using a store-bought product, I asked myself, ‘Why am I buying this? Can I make this?’” McKenzie said, who started her own soap making business called Udderly Naked from her farm home near Overton last year.
