Athens, GA – A new chocolate shop opening in the Five Points neighborhood will offer a behind-the-scenes look at how the sweet treat is produced.

The National chef Peter Dale and brother Nick Dale plan to open Condor Chocolates in the Henrietta Apartments building at 1660 S. Lumpkin St., in Five Points in October, if all works out.

The business, essentially, will be a chocolate factory, using green cacao beans, the raw ingredient from which chocolate is made. Much like Independent Baking across the street, the public will be able to watch chocolate production from behind a bar.
