Eclectic Shop to Open on Shell Point Road
Ruskin, FL – A new store is big news in South Shore, and area residents are especially excited when it’s something interesting and different. That’s what owners Lola Foster and Sarina Correa are counting on as they introduce Shell Point Cottage to the community at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The mother-and-daughter team are opening their first business together — an eclectic, shabby chic, gifts and garden market at 102 W. Shell Point Road. They’re calling it an “out-of-the-box retail experience” because almost everything they carry has been designed, created, repurposed or refinished by local artisans.
Customers will find four rooms of everything from hand-painted art and furniture to upcycled pillows, handbags and picture frames; children’s clothing;, coastal chic home decor; and fresh, dried and silk flowers. Some of the items will be purchased wholesale and others consigned, but all will sold at “a price point that matches the community,” Correa said.
