Montreal collection spotlights Canadian designers

ATLANTA — AmericasMart retailers will discover more than 20 leading Canadian women’s and children’s labels as "Montreal Collections" headlines the Style Runway fashion show Saturday evening of the October 11-14, 2008, Atlanta Apparel Market.

The debut showcases more than 100 spring ready-to-wear pieces and is supported by the Quebec Government to promote Montreal’s most successful exhibitors and manufactures at AmericasMart.

Montreal Collections at AmericasMart encompasses nearly 50 designers and manufactures that show in Atlanta.

To celebrate its Canadian companies and loyal retailers, Montreal Collections will host a champagne toast during the cocktail party prior to the show.

Additionally, qualified buyers will have the opportunity to win a trip to the Montreal Fashion Week in March 2009. Winners will receive VIP treatment with luxury transportation and hotel accommodations and access to the festivities, fashion shows and parties all week, in addition to special visits to boutiques and fashion houses. To register, buyers will be asked to drop off their business card at a Montreal Collections showroom or booth.
