Gift and Home Trade Association goes “high tech” with networking

(Grand Rapids, Mich.) — The Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA), the industry’s non-profit professional trade association, is taking networking to the next level with a new initiative — MeetMaker, a speed networking tool. The initiative, which will be used at the 2008 GHTA Conference November 20-22, will revolutionize networking opportunities, allowing members of the industry, and beyond, to connect in an easy and efficient manner by nailing down face time.

Individuals attending the conference are invited to visit www.synqware.com/meetmaker to sign up for this exciting new initiative. By simply registering, companies can set meetings with other conference attendees. MeetMaker automatically sends an email notification when meetings are made and avoids scheduling conflicts, looking for the first time slots both companies are available.

During 18, five minute sessions, individuals have the opportunity to meet new vendors, solicit sales and industry advice, learn more about other businesses, make friends, and much more. For more information on the GHTA’s 2008 Conference and this new initiative, please visit www.giftandhome.org or call 1.877.600.4872.
