LA Mart Design Center Partners with Sustainable Furnishings Council and ASID/Los Angeles Chapter to Present Greenleaders CEU

Los Angeles, CA – L.A. Mart Design Center is excited to partner with the Sustainable Furnishings Council and the Los Angeles chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) to present the GREENleaders sustainability training program. The day-long seminar is scheduled for Friday, January 15 atL.A. Mart Design Center from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

This informative and timely program is crated to help design professionals become Certified Green Designers. Written by a LEED –CI/AP, it was developed as a complementary program to provide the most comprehensive training available in green furnishings, the knowledge to become a local specialist, and chance distinguish oneself as an expert in sustainability.

This program was developed with support from the #1 Green organization, the Sustainable Furnishings Council, with board members including ranking staff of World Wildlife Fund, Rainforest Alliance, and one of the co-founders of the USGBC. Upon completing the program, designers are invited to experience the California Gift Show for best-in-class designer furnishings, gifts, home décor, and emerging furniture and decorative accessory manufacturers. Additionally, designers will not want to miss an extraordinary mix of design trends found among the exhibitors of DesignStudio2, a showcase of both regional and national artists and custom manufacturers of furniture, lighting, textile, accessories, art and more presented as part of L.A. Mart’s Temporaries exhibition, January 15-18.

Designers are invited to attend the VIP cocktail party at DesignStudio2 on Friday, January 15 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
