MHS Licensing to represent wildlife artist Al Agnew

MHS Licensing is pleased to announce the signing of renowned artist Al Agnew. They will begin showcasing his talents immediately at the upcoming 2010 trade shows. Marty Segelbaum, President of MHS Licensing says, “Adding an artist of Agnew’s caliber is just another example of how we strive to offer the best licensable images to the market. His enormous library of wildlife images as well as his past success is proof of that. We are fortunate to be representing such talent.”

To view an Al Agnew original is to be given the gift of a moment suspended in time. Whether on safari in Africa or roaming his native Ozarks, Agnew channels the sights, sounds, even the air that is breathed to the stroke of his brush in exquisite detail. It is the culmination of Agnew’s knowledge, love, and respect for the natural world, combined with his extraordinary skill of interpretation, that have made him one of the world’s most sought after wildlife artists.

Agnew’s artwork has been featured numerous times in articles and magazines including Sporting Classics, In-Fisherman, Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, Fish and Game, and even Russia’s most prominent fishing magazine. In addition, Al has been commissioned by Bass Pro Shops to create over 75 catalog cover illustrations and has been featured on their TV production.

His rare talent has won him many honors and awards and has been effective in advocating the conservation of our natural resources, especially the re-population of wolves. Agnew explains, “My greatest feeling of satisfaction is visiting Yellowstone to watch the wolves whose presence I was in some small way instrumental in returning to their rightful place in our greatest National Park.”
