First-of-Its-Kind, User-Generated Funny LOL Cat and Dog Card Line Launched by Cheezburger Network and The Madison Park Group

Seattle, WA – The wildly popular website Cheezburger Network and manufacturer The Madison Park Group together launched a new line of greeting cards and gift products at the National Stationery Show in New York in May, 2010.

Cheezburger Network is one of the largest blog networks in the world where more than 15 million people come every month to get their daily dose of laughter. Every day, thousands of photos are submitted and voted on by its users, the funniest of which are now available as greeting cards, stationery, magnets, and other gift products through The Madison Park Group.

The development process works as follows. Users go to the icanhscheezburger.com collection of websites to upload pictures of their cats or dogs (or you-name-it-they-have-a-website-for-it) and add humorous captions. Visitors then vote on the pictures and captions or submit a caption of their own. When all the votes are in, the best rated images and captions are made into greeting cards and gift products by The Madison Park Group.

Products will be available in stores nationwide and online at www.parksidepapers.com in August, 2010. Greeting cards will retail at $2.95 each, Magnets will retail at $3.95 each, and Spiral Notepads will retail at $7.95 each.

Cheezburger includes the hugely popular sites I Can Has Cheezburger, FAIL Blog.org, I Has A Hotdog, Graph Jam, and more than 30 others. The Internet media empire has been covered by national media including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, ABC’s Nightline, Time Magazine, and Wired Magazine. Cheezburger published two New York Times Bestsellers, “I Can Has Cheezburger: A LOLCAT Colleckshun” and “I Can Has Cheezburger: How to Take Over Teh Wurld” and has recently published a third, “I HAS A HOTDOG: What Your Dog is Really Thinking” in April 2010.
