Stage Stores Inc. Expands Cosmetics Selection with Launch of Self-Select Beauty Bar

Houston, TX - Stage Stores Inc. expands their cosmetics lineup with the launch of their new Beauty Bar, an assisted, self-select concept that is available in 100 locations nationwide. Seven all-natural, organic brands were added including Bremenn Labs, Burt’s Bees, Crabtree & Evelyn, Emani Minerals, Juice Organics, Kiss My Face and NP Set by Napoleon Perdis.

Building on the strength of its core cosmetics brands, Stage Stores added the Beauty Bar to attract more shoppers with greater variety and increase impulse purchases through self-select gondolas. The goal is to increase cosmetic sales and market share to a wider demographic.

“By capitalizing on the popular all natural, organic trend and a convenient concept, our goal is for the Beauty Bar to increase cosmetic sales during every visit. We've added a cross-section of well known and newer lines that are all a great fit for self-select purchasing,” said Chris Johnston, senior vice president and general merchandise manager of cosmetics of Stage Stores, Inc.

To celebrate the launch of the Beauty Bar concept, Stage Stores hosted a launch party at its Palais Royal Cinco Ranch location. An appearance by celebrity makeup artist Napoleon Perdis highlighted the evening that included demonstrations and sampling by vendors from all seven lines and drew more than 100 shoppers.
