NYIGF’S At Home Accommodates Expansion Of Leading Suppliers

White Plains, NY — Leading home furnishings suppliers, particularly in the garden and outdoor living categories, are taking cues from the improving economy by expanding their presence in the At Home division of the winter 2011 New York International Gift Fair® (NYIGF®). Following recent growth and refinement, At Home’s collection of 500 furnishings and home fashions offers buyers one of the largest and most diverse selections of trend-focused home resources in the country.

“A number of exhibitors in At Home are increasing their exhibit space for the winter 2011 market, in expectation of healthy growth in order writing, and several industry leaders are returning to At Home following an absence from the New York Market,” said Dorothy Belshaw, NYIGF director and GLM senior vice president. “Buyers can expect to find a wealth of new, on-trend resources to satisfy revitalized consumer demand.”

According to Belshaw, suppliers of outdoor furniture and accessories will be especially well-represented at the winter 2011 NYIGF, with the return of key suppliers alongside well-established brands. Returning companies, such as Elegant Earth (outdoor accessories); FermobUSA (outdoor furniture); Mainly Baskets (wickerware and outdoor accessories); and Orlandi (outdoor accessories), will join the following long-time At Homeexhibitors at Pier 94: Campo de’ Fiori (garden and home accessories); Capital Garden Products (outdoor accessories); Jewels of Java (outdoor furniture); Kingsley-Bate (outdoor furniture); and Pennoyer Newman (garden accessories).

At Home featuring Home Textiles also welcomes the expansion and return of several key home fashions suppliers, as well as several first-time participants. Exhibitors Allem Studio (pillows); Brahms Mount (throws); and Busatti (Italian linens) will expand their space for the winter 2011 market, and the following suppliers will return to NYIGF following an absence from the New York Market: Afera Designs (pillows), Boca Grande Furnishings (pillows/curtains); DownRight (down comforters, pillows); Madeira Embroideries Institute (Portuguese linens); and Marcel Miller (alpaca textiles). These well-known brands will be joined by a number of newcomers, including: Aalamwaar (pillows); Dream Des igns (loungewear); and Pluto (lougewear).
