Magnet Works Makes Major Organizational Changes to Prepare for Growth

Magnet Works, Ltd., a leading provider of indoor and outdoor home décor accessories, announced major personnel changes Tuesday – hiring Anne Brown as Director of Product Development and naming Tammy Hickel as Executive Vice President and General Manager.

“We’ve decided it’s time to take Magnet Works to the next level. Ann and Tammy have the industry experience, creativity, and focus to get us there,” said Curt Todd, CEO and co-founder of Magnet Works.

Since 2005, Tammy Hickel has been the VP of Sales and Marketing for Magnet Works. In her expanded role as EVP, she will run the day-to-day operations of the company. This will free up Curt Todd to focus on new strategic directions with Anne Brown – the newly hired Director of Product Development.

Before joining Magnet Works, Brown served as Senior Product Developer for Demdaco, a leading gift manufacturing company. She played a key role in developing Embellish Your Story and the Kelly Rae Roberts Collection, two of Demdaco’s hottest new lines. She brings 14 years of product development and industry experience to Magnet Works as they prepare for continued growth.

“When you bring the right people together, great things happen. As our team builds, so does our excitement about the future of Magnet Works. I think our customers will share our excitement when they see what’s in store,” said Todd.

Magnet Works, Ltd. is a leading provider of indoor and outdoor home décor items based in St. Louis, Missouri since 1989. Featuring artwork from nearly 100 of the nation’s best licensed artists, the company offers a full line of decorative products including MailWraps® mailbox covers, BreezeArt® premium decorative flags, Yard DeSigns® magnetic ornamental plaques and MatMates™ interchangeable doormat and comfort mat systems. Noted for its superior selection of artwork and high-quality products, the company frequently rates among the top-selling suppliers in numerous gift industry categories.
