Candle Warmers Etc. Promotes Brett Heyland To Vice President of Sales

In his new role, Heyland will direct the company’s in-house sales team to exceed revenue, sales profitability, and budgetary objectives. The appointment supports the company’s strong growth momentum despite today’s sluggish economy.

Heyland will manage the sales department’s key performance indicators such as revenue against plan, projection accuracy, and gross profit percentage. In addition, he will advise on plans for key customers and provide leadership and capability across a wide range of business activities including strategic planning, target identification, and pursuing opportunities in key growth market segments.

Prior to his promotion, Heyland was responsible for negotiating contracts with Amazon.com, BJ’s Wholesale, Hobby Lobby, and AAFES totaling $2 million in business for Candle Warmers Etc.

He also recently led an internal team to develop a new commission and bonus structure that will be implemented early next year. Heyland joined Candle Warmers Etc. in 2010.
