Urban Expositions Acquires Airport Revenue News

Airport Revenue News (ARN) has been acquired by Urban Expositions. Urban Expositions is the largest gift and souvenir trade show organizer in the U.S., hosting a total of 21 shows each year. The company was established in 1995 and is based in Kennesaw, GA.

“We are very excited to be operating as a division of Urban Expo, and look forward to this new era at ARN,” says Pauline Armbrust, executive director for ARN. “With the strength of our new parent company we are better poised to enhance the ARN brand, continue to improve on the quality of all we offer and maintain our status as the foremost information resource for the airport revenue industry.”

Armbrust, the founder of ARN, emphasizes that the transition will be seamless and looks forward to continuing in her current role for at least the next 12 months, while the rest of the ARN team will remain with the new company. “I am excited to bring Urban into the airport revenue world and help them learn about our dynamic industry. At the same time, clients and customers of ARN, the Fact Book and our annual conference will benefit from the additional resources that Urban will bring,” says Armbrust.

“We are extremely pleased to have this opportunity to expand our business into a different but related sector of the industry. We are looking forward to working closely with Pauline and her staff to serve the industry and find new and better ways to deliver value to the entire ARN community,” commented Doug Miller, president and founding partner of Urban Expositions.

Airport Revenue News (ARN) is the airport revenue industry’s leading magazine keeping readers up-to-date on the latest trends, emerging opportunities and new developments in the business of airports.

ARN also hosts its annual Airport Revenue Conference & Exhibition, the most highly attended, targeted revenue conference in the airport industry.

Additionally, ARN publishes the annual Fact Book, the industry’s only resource for important data on the airport concessions business. For more information, visit www.airportrevenuenews.com.

Since then, Urban Expositions has continued to grow through acquisitions and new show development. Urban currently owns, manages and produces twenty-one successful gift, decorative accessory, souvenir and resort merchandise trade shows throughout the United States.

Based in Kennesaw, GA, Urban Expositions offers a complete roster of trade show management services, including exhibit sales and marketing, operations, exhibitor/attendee promotions and services, media relations, seminar and event coordination, database development and management.
