Birds and Flower Jewelry from Schmutzerland Impresses Retailers at the New York International Gift Fair

Schmutzerland, the image based jewelry specialists, unveiled its new line of bird and flower image jewelry at the New York International Gift Fair this past January, to an enthusiastic reception. The new line features colorful illustrations of flowers and birds, with a vintage, nostalgic feel. These pieces are perfect for that special accent to go with a spring outfit. The positive attitude that this fresh new line exudes was reflected the upbeat mood of the retailers that visited Schmutzerland at the Gift Fair.

Sydney Rubin, Schmutzerland’s style advisor said, “these colorful pieces accessorize your Spring outfits. You can spruce up any ensemble you have and make it look new, just by enhancing it with the splash of color you get from this additions to the Schmutzerland collection.” Retailers seemed to agree with Ms. Rubin, as the new flower and bird illustration jewelry was one of Schmutzerland’s top sellers at the New York International Gift Fair this past January.

The flower jewelry is part of the Buddhas & Botanicals collection and the new bird jewelry can be found in the Feathered Friends collection on the Schmutzerland website. They can be viewed as deluxe necklaces and earrings, but in keeping with Schmutzerland’s retailer friendly attitude, they will put these vibrant designs in any of their available settings, including rings, hairpins and cufflinks.

The Schmutzerland line also features images from Victorian engravings, famous faces, animals, geography and geometry to nostalgic themes, so there is a little something for everyone’s liking. The whimsical nature of Schmutzerland’s designs promotes its appeal to a broad spectrum of clientele, who find they are great pieces to wear, whether they are dressing up or dressing down.
