It’s Toy Fair Time and Douglas Company Is Rolling Out All Kinds of Fun!

Booth #373 is a must-stop-by booth at this year’s International Toy Fair. The designers at Douglas Company have been creating all types of wonderful new plush and fashion accessory items. Toy Fair visitors be prepared for lots of smiles and tons of joy upon viewing these new releases. From line extensions of their whimsical Fuzzles™ to trying to determine if those cats and dogs are real or not, Douglas has all kinds of fun in store for you.

New Fuzzles™: Twelve brand new Fuzzles™ are making their debut this year. They include: Casey Peace Dog, Katie Pink Butterfly Pig, Justine Pink Butterfly Monkey, Arenina Pink Butterfly Horse, Tyler Green Peace Dog, Logan Green Peace Owl, Nina Multi Butterfly Frog, Mercy Black Flower Pig, Merdle Green Peace Turtle, Willow Multi Butterfly Owl, Avery Multi Butterfly Monkey, and Tortola Flower Turtle. Fuzzles™ personify fun in their deliciously bold color combinations and now with added textures, too! They are ultra-soft and ultra-floppy, and range in size from 8″ by 10″ to 26″. Designer Dogs: One might expect these pups to have their own special spot on the steps of the Met in their glamour girl fashion. Even their names, Brie, Gia, Collette, Ki-Ki, Velvet and Brigette scream sensational. These realistic, look-alike breeds are irresistibly cute and dressed to the nines in fashion galore. Each tre’ chic pup sits 10.5″ tall. SPR: $19 each

Clifford Plush: Clifford the Big Red Dog is known for spreading his kindness throughout the globe, and now children, ages 3 and up, can really wrap their arms around this kind and loving dog. Choose from 7″ Sitting Clifford, 8″ Standing Clifford, 11″ Small Lying Down Clifford, 12″ Medium Standing Clifford, 11″ Medium Sitting Clifford, 15″ Medium Lying Down Clifford, 15″ Large Sitting Clifford, 16″ Large Standing Clifford, 22″ Large Floppy Clifford or 30″ Jumbo Lying Down Clifford. His features are so lifelike that you are just waiting for him to bark. He is ultra-soft and uber cuddly. SRP: $10 to $160 each.

Tatty Teddy™: Douglas will introduce Tatty Teddy™ with three distinct everyday collections: the Birthday Collection, the Love and Friendship Collection, the Get Well and Encouragement Collection. Tatty Teddy™ ranges in size from 6″ to 12″. He has ultra-soft, long gray hair and a signature blue nose. Tatty Teddy™ offers heartfelt warmth and happiness with greetings of all kinds. There are seven bears in each of the initial collections adding up to 23 new styles in all. There is even a 12″ overly floppy Tatty Teddy™ designed specifically for snuggling close. SRP: $11.50 to $32 each

Standing Cats: Douglas is known for their classic breeds of cats and will be introducing five new 12″ Standing Cats. They have endearing faces and are striking some “cat gestures”. Each one stands straight and alert seeking love and attention. Zipper the Grey Tabby, Tiffy the Orange Tabby, Midnight the Black Cat and Scooter the Black and White Cat are all new for 2012. SRP $15.50 each

Sweet Puppies: Douglas also is well-know for their classic look-alike dog breeds. With Sweet Puppies it’s all about the face, with their poignant, longing looks, they are just irresistibly darling. There are six to choose from including PJ Black Lab, Tootsie Beagle, Patsy Golden Retriever, Gi-Gi Yellow Lab, Button Bernese Mountain Dog and Abby German Shepherd. Each adorable pup is created of the softest kohair fur and sits 10″ wearing a red webbed collar. SRP $12 each

Products introduced at Toy Fair and the Winter Gift Shows are expected to be on store shelves in late February or early March. Douglas products are sold at specialty gift and toy stores in the USA, Canada and Europe. Clifford and Tatty Teddy will only be sold in USA and Canada.
