GHTA and GAIN Offer Free Credit Reports through GHTA-GAIN Credit Interchange

The Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA), a professional trade association formed to support, lead, and unify the gift and home industry, and the Gift Associates Interchange Network, Inc. (GAIN), an association of supplier companies exchanging historical payment information on retailers in the gift, garden, and home industries, through the GHTA-GAIN Interchange, will offer free credit reports for 60 days to GHTA members and potential members, now through August 31, 2012. The offering is a “Show Buster Special.”

“Our company has used multiple reporting services over the years,” says John Toler, COO of Evergreen Enterprises. “We have found, repeatedly, that the retailer payment experiences, predictive payment scoring, and other information provided by the GHTA-GAIN Interchange the most accurate and reliable.”

GHTA and GAIN partnered to form the Interchange earlier this year. It provides retailer payment experiences, flash notices, predictive payment scoring, and other educational resources to members. More than 150 leading companies within the gift and home industry are currently using GAIN, including Ganz, Demdaco, and Midwest-CBK, which means they have access to a database that includes all of the main purchasers within the industry, allowing them to make credit decisions with timely, relevant information.

The GHTA is also excited to announce that AmericasMart Atlanta has officially endorsed the GHTA-GAIN Credit Interchange and will be spreading the word about this unique and beneficial program this summer during the Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market®, held July 11-18 at the AmericasMart.
