Colorfully Creating a Greater Way to Grate: Greater Grater from Kuhn Rikon

Kuhn Rikon presents a colorful and creative update to the traditional box grater with the new Greater Grater. Available in green, red or yellow, it provides a comfortable, easy and waste-free way to grate cheese, chocolate and more.

The functional design ensures none of your grating efforts go to waste. Once the food is grated, it falls directly into the conveniently attached one-cup container.

The Greater Grater is designed to sit comfortably in the palm of your hand or on the counter, as opposed to the traditional tall box grater, which stands upright. The blades sit atop the container, providing leverage for easy grating. The container is designed with a slight angle and pattered sides to give you a firm and sturdy grip during grating. The sturdy blade and hole pattern on the top work together to give you quick, uniform results. Even hard foods such as Parmesan cheese, chocolate and cinnamon sticks are easily grated. The Greater Grater is also the perfect choice for ginger, garlic and even nutmeg.

The grater easily snaps on and off the container, making food preparation neater. Once filled, remove the grater off the top of the container to access the contents, without having to gather cheese or other foods from the counter.

The entire Greater Grater, including the blades, is constructed from durable ABS plastic and is completely dishwasher safe. This compact kitchen tool measures 5¼ inches by 3 inches, and is easily stored in a drawer or a cabinet.

The Greater Grater, in green, red or yellow, has a suggested retail price of $8. It will be available for shipment in March 2013.
