GHTA Announces Location and Dates for 2013 Annual Conference

The Gift and Home Trade Association, the industry’s leading non-profit trade association, has announced its 11th Annual GHTA Conference will be held in San Diego, California, October 2-5, 2013. Designed to provide educational and networking opportunities for all attendees, the conference will reiterate why the gift and home industry is “stronger together.”

“Our annual conference has become a signature event within the gift and home industry,” noted John Keiser, president of the Gift and Home Trade Association and CEO of OneCoast. “This conference will be no exception. San Diego will provide a beautiful backdrop for three days of exceptional connecting, learning, and contributing.”

The Gift and Home Trade Association’s Conference Committee, headed by Bob Watson Jr. of Annalee, has already confirmed many aspects of the conference, which will be announced soon. As always, the three-day event will feature a well-known keynote speaker, breakout sessions and workshops, a golf outing, networking receptions, and the charitable “Give Back” day that the GHTA has made a program staple.

The 2013 GHTA Annual Conference will be held at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina, located on the harbor. The GHTA has secured significantly discounted room rates at $179 per night. The hotel is a 4-star residence and features 3 swimming pools, several fine restaurants, tennis courts, and jogging trails. It is also located near San Diego’s Balboa Park.
