Julie Browning Bova Partners with Buckles in a Snap for Fashion Line

Julie Browning Bova is a well-known interior designer and creator of the Julie Browning Bova Home Collection and Julie Browning Bova Fine Paper and Gifts Collection. With her growing popularity, so is her repertoire of partnerships and product offerings. Most recently, Bova has partnered with Buckles in a Snap, a manufacturer of unique, handmade belt buckles. As part of the collaboration, Bova’s signature equestrian-inspired designs will grace the faces of the company’s buckles. Bova is also offering custom designs for online shoppers. The line will be sold at various retail locations.

“This is a fun, creative partnership for me,” said Bova. “I love fashion and am a proud owner of a sizeable belt collection. To be able to combine my artwork and passion with high-quality belt buckles couldn’t be more perfect. Not to mention, the women of Buckles in a Snap are savvy entrepreneurs and wonderful to work with.”

The Julie Browning Bova Collection for Buckles in a Snap features horses, floral patterns, horse bits and more, in a bright spring color palette, including lavender, coral and mint green. True to her first love of the equestrian lifestyle, a classic equestrian-colored group of buckles in classic navy, hunt red, and emerald green is also offered.

“The minute we saw Julie’s work, we wanted to find a way to implement her into the Buckles in a Snap family. As luck would have it, we were introduced through a mutual contact in December of 2012 and have been working together ever since,” said Amy Smith, owner of Buckles in a Snap.

The buckle designs, created to appeal to both women and girls, present a feminine charm paired with on-trend colors. “Julie’s use of rich earth tones, beautiful floral elements and stunning patterns allow for versatile use in a wardrobe, which attracts various audiences,” noted Smith.

As the buckle line grows, Bova plans to continue incorporating her flair with the latest Pantone® color and fashion trends. “I appreciate the beauty of fashion, as much as I do space and furniture design,” commented Bova. “Like my other work, elevating my buckle artwork is something I look forward to. I want to surprise buyers and bring them fresh concepts with each rollout.”
