Lifestyle Resources Grow By 50% on C10 at Summer Las Vegas Market

Las Vegas Market’s lifestyle brands will expand by 50% on the 10th Floor of Building C this July with the addition of four new showrooms—sales agencies Aesthetic Movement and Keena and manufacturers K. Hall Designs and Mary Lake Thompson—seventeen micro showrooms showcasing design-driven lines— and the debut of a new PLUSH pavilion featuring children’s merchandise. The Summer 2014 Las Vegas Market runs Sunday, July 27 to Thursday, July 31, 2014.

“Las Vegas Market continues to build a critical mass of leading lifestyle resources, both in permanent showrooms and in temporary presentations, as part of our strategy to position Las Vegas as the leading furniture, home decor and gift Market in the western United States,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “These newcomers, coupled with current C10 sales agencies Anne McGilvray, Fine Lines and Just Got 2 Have It!, not only help to expand the lifestyle resources presented on C10 by 50%, but also bring some of the industry’s most notable design-driven lifestyle lines to Las Vegas for the first time.”

Nationally-recognized boutique agency Aesthetic Movement represents a curated collection of designers and manufacturers that specialize in unique and distinctive objects for the gift, home and personal accessories markets. The company will spotlight a selection of their leading national lifestyle brands, including Austin Press, Avindy, Fishs Eddy, Izola, Juniper Ridge, Matt & Nat, Seletti, Set Editions, Sibilia, Sir/Madam, and Thomaspaul –– among many others –– in its new 2,091-square-foot showroom.

Keena, a San Francisco-based manufacturers’ representative organization, offers an inspired list of home, gift and personal accessories collections that encompass a distinct point of view and sense of style. Keena will present notable national brands Chilewich, Kikkerland, Kinto, Menu, IMM Living, Savora, Teroforma, Umbra, Wild & Wolf and others, in its new 4,882-square-foot showroom.

“It’s been very exciting to see the recent growth of the Las Vegas Market, said Catharine Keena, Founder and President. When our buyers started to tell us that Keena had to be there, we listened. There’s an undeniable vitality to the Las Vegas Market and we are thrilled to become a part of it.”

In addition to these sales agencies, two new manufacturer showrooms will make their western states debut on C10 during the summer 2014 Market: K. Hall Designs, a St. Louis-based manufacturer of home fragrance, bath and body products, candles, diffusers, and accessories, with a 2,140-square-foot showroom; and Mary Lake Thompson, an Oroville, CA-based supplier of kitchen textiles, aprons, tote bags, home fragrance items, gift sets and pet products, in a 1,760 square-foot space.

Temporary exhibits presented in “micro showrooms” on C10 will triple to feature some 20 companies for the summer Market. To date, the confirmed roster includes: Be Home; Dayna Decker Home; D.L. & Co.; French Studio Imports; Glenda Gies; Heritage Lace; Hot Skwash; Jax + Jack; Kiss That Frog; Modern Candle, Nu Op; Objects with Purpose; Pisu Bazaar; Prestige Identity; Rustico Leather; Seda France; Stewart Stand; and Wendell August.

As previously announced, PLUSH (The Posh Little Urbanites Show) will co-locate with the Las Vegas Market for the first time in July 2014. The new 2,500 net square foot PLUSH pavilion will debut on C10 with some 20 new-to-market companies, including The Daisy Baby; Ecobibi; KidKusion Inc.; Moby Wrap; and Pack My Ride.

In an effort to expand the scope of product categories that complement the strengthening furniture and bedding resources, Las Vegas Market has experienced dramatic growth in the gift and home décor categories since 2013, with 550,000 square feet of expanded showrooms as well as the addition of new resources and categories, such as specialty tabletop, lifestyle merchandise, fashion accessories and artisanal crafts.
