Los Angeles International Textile Show Announces New Trend Partnership With Promostyl Forecasting Agency

The Fall/Winter 15/16 Los Angeles International Textile Show (LA Textile) will take place Monday-Wednesday, September 29-October 1, 2014, at the California Market Center. LA Textile is excited to announce its newly cultivated partnership with leading fashion trend forecasting agency, Promostyl. Promostyl will provide the Show with the key trend directions for the F/W 15/16 season, which will be featured throughout the LA Textile Trend Forum. The Paris-based agency will bring a European perspective to the West Coast.

“Promostyl is thrilled to be partnering with the LA Textile Show for the Fall/Winter 15/16 season,” says Janna Stark, Promostyl Trend Consultant. “With an impressive global array of vendors, as well as attendees, we could not think of a better place to present our ideas and inspire the creation of future garments and products.”

Promostyl has been at the forefront of researching upcoming trends over the past 50 years. By analyzing socio-cultural influences, the agency is able to accurately predict the cultural expression, mood, and lifestyle of an era, leading to forward thinking and fresh ideas. Examples of their proven track record include being one of the first agencies to predict the sportswear revolution and the eco-fashion movement. The agency is a leader in forecasting for brands looking not merely follow trends, but be trendsetters themselves.

“We are looking forward to working with Promostyl as the Show’s Official Trend Partner,” says Rebecca Aguilar, LA Textile Spokesperson. “Because Promostyl is considered by many to be the first existing trend forecasting agency, LA Textile attendees will receive the highest knowledge and insight into the notable textile and trim directions for the season. We are also excited to bring Promostyl’s global perspective to buyers and designers in Los Angeles, enabling them to stay ahead of the curve and make the most of their time at the Show.”

The LA Textile Trend Forum will be located in the Main Lobby of the California Market Center throughout the run of the Show. Promostyl will also present the seminar “Fall/Winter 2015/16: Influences, Color, Fabric and Key Shapes” on Monday, September 29th at 11am in Penthouse Suite 19. Visit the Promostyl booth in the Design and Direction area of the Fall/Winter 15/16 LA Textile Show, Monday-Wednesday, September 29-October 1, 2014 at the CMC. Hosted in the Penthouse, on the 13th floor, show hours are from 9:00am-5:00pm on Monday and Tuesday, and 9:00am-4:00pm on Wednesday.
