Los Angeles Men’s Market Returns to California Market Center As Next Upcoming Menswear Show

The Los Angeles Men’s Market (LAMM) will return on October 13 and 14, 2014 to AREA4 of the California Market Center (CMC), where industry leading brands and buyers will come together to do business in the intimate climate of what is rapidly emerging as the next major menswear Market.

Brands who participate in the Show include top Contemporary and Premium Streetwear lines such as Herschel Supply Co., Komono, Native, 10 Deep, Obey, Brixton, G-Shock, Zanerobe, Publish, Hundreds, Wellen, Ice Cream, A-Life and many more.

LAMM answers the call from industry leaders who need an event to meet and work outside of the existing tradeshow calendar, focusing on the Summer and Holiday seasons. With ACNE, Ace Hotel, OAK and Urban Outfitters all planting roots in Downtown Los Angeles, the area is further established as a mecca for culture, lifestyle and fashion. It also solidifies DTLA as the ideal location for designers and retailers to come together.

“Los Angeles was being overlooked as a feasible location for brands and buyers to connect in an effective and intimate way,” says Kellen Roland of The NTWRK. “We launched LAMM in October of 2013 and one year later the growth of the event and the economy of Downtown LA are staggering. LAMM is providing the ideal space for industry-leading menswear brands to show their wares, meet with their retail partners and obtain new business.”

Key retailers that attend LAMM include Active, American Rag, Zappos, Moose Limited, Nordstorm, Tillys, Revolve, Val-Surf, Whitmore, Four Season Shops, Attic Stade Co and hundreds more.

“Men’s Market is a perfect mid-season show,” says Evan Pinstein of Moose Limited (MLTD). “It makes it easy for me to sit down with some of the top brands, while at the same time giving me a chance to see new brands that I had missed at previous shows.”

In addition to the participation of the rapidly growing showcase of industry-leading brands, LAMM partners with an impressive list of sponsors such as Stumptown Coffee, EggSlut, Uber, The Ace Hotel, The Standard, Boxed Water, and Horse Thief BBQ, to bring attendees complimentary breakfast and coffee, special accommodations at DTLA’s top boutique hotels, and nightly receptions including drinks and special events, centered on developing, strengthening, and expanding professional and personal relationships.

The curated, two-day Market event will take place October 13 and 14, 2014 on the 4th Floor B Wing of the California Market Center from 10a-6p daily.
