GHTA Annual Conference Auction to Benefit Gift for Life

Gift for Life, the gift and home industries’ charitable organization, announced today it will receive a portion of the proceeds from the Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA) auction held during the organization’s annual Bridgeway Collaborative conference, November 11-13 in Nashville.

On the evening of Wednesday, November 12, the GHTA’s “Night of Nashville” event will feature dinner, an auction and live entertainment for the more than 330 conference guests. The silent and live auction will be filled with a variety of items including vacation homes, such as a luxury 3-night stay at the Blue Oak private vineyard in Napa with a 10,000 square foot home; autographed memorabilia, including a piece from Tiger Woods; market center-related items, including booths and elevator door advertising; a selection of services, such as social media management, audits, and more; an array of hotel stays and gift certificates; and various home décor and fashion accessories items.

“Thank you to GHTA, the Bridgeway Collaborative associations, and all the conference attendees for making an auction bid and helping our cause,” said Stu Teller, chair of the Gift for Life board. “We depend upon the generosity of our industry friends to continue our mission.”

“The GHTA has been a longtime partner of Gift for Life, and we look forward to increasing our support of the organization, via our conference auction,” said Todd Litzman, president of GHTA.

Make plans now to bid on auction items at the GHTA Conference and help Gift for Life’s nationwide program of HIV/AIDS education, testing and prevention. Also, mark your calendars for Gift for Life’s 23rd Annual Party for Life, benefiting DIFFA, on Monday, February 2, 2015, at The Boathouse in New York City’s Central Park. Individual tickets are $125, and sponsorships ranging from $500 through $25,000 are available. For details, contact Steven Williams at swilliams@diffa.org, (212) 727-3100.
