California Market Center, Gift Show, LA Mart teaming up for ‘How the West is One’

The July 17-20 California Gift Show returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center’s Kentia and South Halls with an expanded World Style section and California Dreamin’, a new collection of California-made resources. Backed by a growing assortment in product categories, a line-up of educational seminars and buyer services, as well as the promotional alliance with LA Mart and California Market Center, the summer edition will help Western region retailers gear up for a third and fourth quarter selling season.

Summer 2015 Show Highlights Include:

How the West is oneThe growing selection at the California Gift Show, July 17-20, comes together with the permanent showrooms at the California Market Center, July 15-20, and LA Mart, July 15 -20. Each location will honor the other’s admission badges and provide complimentary shuttle service from select host hotels and between all three venues.

Fresh findsIn addition to the new California Dreamin’ spotlight and the international offerings in the show’s World Style section, buyers can explore hundreds of lines categorized into Gifts, Design LA, Makers’ Market, Personal Style, Boardwalk, Jewelry Cash & Carry and Vintage sectors. From top-name lines and best-selling brands like VIP International, Ty, Inc., Folkmanis, Inc., Shirley De Marco & Associates, Melissa & Doug, LLC, Lori Sicher Collection, Zaer Collection, Picnic Time, Lauren-Spencer Group, to Lantern Press, F.T. Renner Company, J. Goodin Inc. and K&K Tabletop, the California Gift Show is a retailer’s resource.

Parking reimbursement for pre-registered buyersUrban Expositions is offering a parking reimbursement to buyers who pre-register and arrive early to park at the Los Angeles Convention Center lot- reimbursement up to $10/day (offer valid only from July 17 – July 20, 2015). Complete details are included with the badge packages registrants will receive by mail.

Giveaways, special, product displaysRetailers will have the chance to enter into daily $50 cash giveaways and a grand prize drawing for a two-night hotel stay at the winter 2016 show. In addition, many exhibitors will be offering various savings on their lines, including free shipping, discounted rates and more. And, to help them plan their buying schedule, attendees can visit the special Launching Pad and other Product Preview displays in the registration area before stepping on to the show floor.

Educational offeringsAttendees can choose from a wide-range of free educational offerings, including the popular Urban Retail Marketing Bootcamp series hosted by SnapRetail.
