Las Vegas Market expanding with 10th anniversary show this summer

The Las Vegas Market will celebrate its 10th anniversary this summer, Aug. 2-6, with continued expansion in furniture, gift and home décor categories delivering the market’s largest and most wide-ranging selection of exhibitors and exciting new programs and features for buyers presenting unparalleled buying and selling opportunities presenting along with exciting new programs and features for buyers.

Las Vegas Market will unveil the third and final series of changes in its gift and home décor offerings. New elements for Summer Las Vegas Market include the debut of C11, a new permanent showroom floor for gourmet housewares, tabletop and specialty food; continued growth of better home décor resources on C5; and repositioning and reimagining of temporary exhibits as the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market, showcasing some 90,000 net square feet of gift and home décor resources alongside the debut of Discoveries — the Antique Vintage Marketplace, for antique, vintage and one-of-a-kind resources.

Summer Las Vegas Market also welcomes the official debut of the casual furniture category, with leading casual furniture and outdoor vendors now concentrated in 250,000 square feet of permanent showrooms and temporary exhibit space on the 12th and 13th floors in Building C. The addition of casual furniture brings a new element to Las Vegas Market’s well-established furniture category — recognized as the premier destination for furniture in the western U.S. and the most important national bedding market — with the most comprehensive assortment of leading furniture and bedding resources as well as steady additions of new and exciting up-and-comers.

Beyond exhibits, Summer Market will present a variety of special events and an expanded range of buyer amenities in connection with the Market’s 10th anniversary. Among highlights are Las Vegas Market’s fourth annual gala to benefit Gift for Life, the gift and home industry’s sole charity, on Monday, Aug. 3. A variety of other special events are planned, including complimentary happy hours and other free food and beverage offerings for buyers. In addition, a compelling roster of seminars, keynote speeches and panel discussions will deliver additional value to Las Vegas Market participants. Highlights include the semi-annual “Ahead of the Curve” presentation detailing at-market trends in color and design; Gourmet Insights, a half-day of gourmet housewares-specific programming hosted by the Gourmet Retailer in connection with the launch of C11, and Design Camp, hosted by celebrity designers Loir Dennis and Kelli Ellis, for the interior design community. Attendees also will enjoy an expanded array of market amenities including complimentary shuttles to/from host hotels, free parking in an onsite parking garage, fully-equipped Internet lounges, grab-and-go breakfasts, greeters, and convenient café and food kiosks.

Las Vegas Market showrooms in Buildings A, B and C will be open Aug. 2-6, and temporary exhibits at the Pavilions at Las Vegas Market will be open Aug. 2-5.
