Dallas Market Center to host Interior Design Society national conference

Dallas Market Center and the Interior Design Society have announced the annual national IDS conference to be held at Dallas Market Center, March 30 – April 1 during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market.

“We are in the midst of an expansion of design partnerships and resources,” Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center, said. “We truly believe in fostering the growth of the design community by offering them as many events and resources as we can make available.”

The two-day conference will feature keynote speakers Dann Foley and Gail Doby and will offer unsurpassed networking and learning opportunities for interior designers. This year’s conference theme, “Building a Better Business: One Design at a Time”, focuses on how designers can forge new approaches to developing their business.

Known for his keen eye for great style, his signature collections and his impeccable design collaborations, Dann Foley, will share his profound understanding of design while serving as master of ceremonies and tour guide.

Helping interior designers exceed their businesses potential, Gail Dolby, chief vision officer and co-founder of Design Success University, LLC., will speak on the topic of, “How to Build a Profitable Interior Design Firm.”

Following Dolby, several guest speakers including Julie Schuster, principal of Julie Schuster Design Studio, MaLinda Perry, color specialist, Fred Berns, sales and marketing coach, Mark Raissen of LightRaze, Lloyd Princeton, design coach, Joe Jankoski, VP of retail channel development for Hunter Douglas and Barbara Viteri who will conclude the seminars on April 1 with a panel discussion.
