The LA Mart to unveil sunny variety of fresh resources, festive buyer amenities, easy-to-shop environment at Summer 2016 Gift & Home Market

The LA Mart, the West Coast’s largest resource for gift, home and design products, is ready to offer its national and international retailer audience “Everything Under the Sun” with an extensive variety of highly marketable merchandise, new and newly expanded showrooms, and numerous amenities, all to be found at the LA Mart Summer 2016 Market scheduled for Wednesday, July 20 through Monday, July 25, 2016, from 9 am to 6 pm.

“As the West Coast’s premier facility for home, design, holiday, furniture & decorative accessories, toys, children’s goods, personal care, fashion/fashion accessories as well as the largest selection of gift products in the West, we are proud to offer our buyers ‘you want it, we’ve got it’ resources, with all the national brands a buyer relies on, as well as artisanal and unique lines that retailers may find only at the LA Mart,” stated Frank Joens, senior vice president and general manager, LA Mart. “For our vibrant Summer 2016 Market, we will debut thousands of square feet of brand new and newly expanded resources, all of which will showcase the latest products, including the West Coast’s most extensive selection of holiday/seasonal merchandise. The LA Mart enjoys a very loyal customer base that appreciates our easy-to-navigate building, free Mart-adjacent parking, easy registration online or onsite, and energy-filled environment; we are anticipating a very lively and productive summer show.”

NEW OR NEWLY EXPANDED SHOWROOMS: Making their debut at the LA Mart Summer 2016 Market, are an impressive number of brand new showrooms, including Haptor-Barrett’s huge 13,000 square foot new furniture and decorative accessories showroom located in the LA Mart’s Design Center to serve the interior design and furniture communities. Also joining the LA Mart’s roster of prestigious tenants are Le Coterie, (home accessories including pillows and occasional pieces) Bobby Berk Home (well-known designer and manufacturer of home furnishings and décor), and Art Floral Trading (handcrafted giftware with an emphasis on holiday products).

In addition, major showrooms – including the nationally known Karen Alweil Studio — have added 1,000 square feet to their national showroom headquarters to accommodate their growing product collections. In all, the LA Mart will have added over 22,000 square feet of new/expanded showroom space to its roster this year, all of which to be in place by Summer 2016 Market.

EASY REGISTRATION AND INTER-VENUE TRANSPORTATION: As part of its “United We Brand” campaign with LAMKT (formerly the California Gift Show), one badge will gain entry to both shows.
