At 18-years-old, Window Panes is the granddaddy of high-end gift shops in Bar Harbor. Since 1994, owners Julie and Greg Veilleux have worked the floor of the brightly lit store together, striving to keep a fresh and exciting mix of products while staying focused on meeting the needs of both local homeowners and tourists.

The pair keep a careful eye out for Maine-made products and those reflecting the coastal lifestyle; granite vases and lamps, buoy bell wind chimes, and items featuring maps of the Bar Harbor area are all popular with vacationers looking to take home a little piece of Maine.

Window Panes’ large glass front overlooking one of the town’s busiest intersections offers a great opportunity for showcasing the latest and greatest items in the store.
