Fair Trade Organization Holds Annual Cranbrook SaleBy DailyTownsman.com

Cranbrook, BC – On September 16 and 17, volunteers will invest in the lives of artisans around the world by selling exquisite hand-crafted gifts and home décor.

The Ten Thousand Villages Fair Trade Gift Sale, to be held a Knox Presbyterian Church – 2100 3rd Street South in Cranbrook – offers an opportunity for citizens in the East Kootenay to invest in their world by shopping fair trade. Shoppers will also learn more about skilled artisans in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.

“By holding this sale, we’re giving customers in the East Kootenay a chance to buy unique products while helping people in developing countries meet basic needs for themselves and their families,” said Ida Van Der Molen, sales organizer.
