Local Shops Excited About Small Business Saturday
Sioux City, IA – Instead of Black Friday, local businesses are hoping you’re going to come and enjoy Shop Local Saturday. It’s all in the efforts to return that holiday revenue here to local businesses.
Black Friday is considered by most to be the official start to the holiday shopping season.
But local businesses like Alainn are encouraging you to hold off a day and do your shopping on what they’re calling Small Business Saturday.
“You don’t have to spend a million dollars at Christmas time to give someone a wonderful gift and small business Saturday is just a way to support local businesses to keep that money in the community,” says Danielle Dolan with Alainn.
