The Flower Box and Design Shop: Individualized ExperienceBy Dorothy HarrisHighlandsToday.com

Sebring, FL – Christmas is just days away. Are you in need of a last minute gift? One quick stop at The Flower Box and Design Shop in downtown Sebring is guaranteed to finish off your list. This store features delightful gifts as well as interior design services by Diane Belcher. Anne Watson, known as the Lazy Painter, also teaches painting and offers artwork by commission from within this beautiful store located at 233 N. Ridgewood Drive.

“Anne and I have been friends for twenty years,” says Diane, adding folks often think they are sisters. She invited Anne to join her when she moved to The Flower Box’s current location, which incidentally was the former home of Wilson Shoes for those who’ve lived here long enough to remember. “Before then, I was located on Hawthorne,” adds Diane. “I try to offer whatever people need,” she continues, referring to her delightful collection of gifts, design services, custom hand-painted furniture, silk arrangements and more.

The ever-expanding gift selections include some of the most unique items you might find in Sebring. Need a stuffed penguin? Diane’s got that. Or perhaps a Spartina 449 bag is more to your liking? No worries, there are quite a few to choose from. Check out her wide variety of inspirational signs, many customizable, providing a perfect way to commemorate a favorite destination, family memory or OMG moment for your BFF. There are silk arrangements so real; you might be tempted to sniff the roses. Best of all, there is something for any budget or the most difficult person you’re shopping for.
