MHS Licensing to introduce Al Agnew at the upcoming Surtex and Licensing Shows

New York NY – MHS Licensing will be introducing artist Al Agnew at the upcoming 2010 Surtex Show (booth #435 & 437) and Licensing Show (booth #5568).

Agnew joins The Hautman Brothers, James Meger, Darrell Bush and Victoria Schultz in MHS Licensing family of award winning wildlife artists. It is the culmination of Agnew’s knowledge, love, and respect for the natural world, combined with his extraordinary skill, that have made him one of the world’s most sought after wildlife artists. Marty Segelbaum, President of MHS Licensing says, “The demand for wildlife art continues to grow and to add an artist of Agnew’s caliber is an example of how we constantly strive to offer the best licensable images to the market. His enormous library of wildlife images as well as his past success is proof of that. We are fortunate to be representing such talent.”

Agnew’s artwork has been featured numerous times in articles and magazines and has been commissioned by Bass Pro Shops to create over 75 catalog cover illustrations including the Spring ’10 issue. His rare talents have won him many honors and awards and have been effective in advocating the conservation of our natural resources, especially the re-population of wolves. Agnew explains, “My greatest feeling of satisfaction is visiting Yellowstone to watch the wolves whose presence I was in some small way instrumental in returning to their rightful place in our greatest National Park.”

Collectively, MHS Licensing’s artists generate roughly $100 million in annual sales through their licensee partners. At the Surtex and Licensing Shows MHS Licensing will also be introducing new images from their successful artists including the Hautman Brothers, Judy Buswell, Kathy Hatch, Audrey Jeanne Roberts, Tina Higgins, Luis Fitch, Robin Roderick, Pam Luer, Amy Hautman, H. Hargrove, Cranston Collection, Darrell Bush, Ursula Dodge, James Meger, Susan Renae, Victoria Schultz as well as the brands Smirk, Museware by Sheree, Karim Rashid, Munki Munki, Buck Wear and The Girls.
