Midwest-CBK Introduces New Home Decor Collections

Cannon Falls, MN – Midwest-CBK, leading designer and manufacturer renowned for its design, style and sparkle, introduces 400 new designs in its home décor collection, inspired by today’s trends, blended with classic styling, and designed for today’s customer needs and tastes. Midwest-CBK’s summer décor introductions have evolved to include a mix of formats in styles that appeal to a broad range of consumers intended to maximize current décor sales for independent retailers looking for exclusive, innovative design that blends today’s trends with the best in classic, tailored styling and proven best-selling formats.

“Our team of design and trend experts has traveled the world to bring together important new designs, combined with best-sellers for the ideal mix of coordinated styles,” says Frederic Contino, President of Midwest-CBK. “Our introductions all have a rich, deliberate story or purpose. Fresh and vibrant colors, authentic materials and layers of texture are highlighted within our new collections, designed to turn heads – and drive sales.”

Key collections in Midwest-CBK’s revamped product line include Vintage French, Classics, Casa Cristina™, Expedition, Heartland and Coastal. Destination categories with high volume offerings include frames, and wine and serveware.

All new collections will debut during the summer markets in Midwest-CBK showrooms across the country, with shipping available immediately. Suggested retail prices range from $10 to $250.

Midwest-CBK’s new home décor lead categories include:

  • A completely new product mix introduced via the Expedition collection, which features masculine décor and gifts that reference seafaring explorers, travel, and navigation.
  • Commissioned, nature-inspired impressionist paintings by artist Julie Ueland, applied to wall art, nested trays and bottle stoppers.
  • Custom-designed and printed textiles, including cable knit pillows in vibrant colors in the Heartland collection, and authentic crocheted lace table runners and coasters, and modern lace doily-inspired pillows, table runner and napkins in Vintage French.
  • Heritage-rich custom Kilim woven patterns applied to stools and wall art. The ancient Kilim rug weaving tradition originated in 3000 BC when women wove colors, patterns, and motifs together to communicate tribal details. With a nod to this rich heritage, we’ve designed our custom Kilim-ware with colors and patterns to reflect the natural style of our all-American Heartland collection.
  • One-of-a-kind, hand-painted lanterns inspired by ceremonial Henna “Mehndi” designs and matching hexagonal stools are featured in our wildly popular Casa Cristina collection. With origins in India and now popular around the world, Mehndi is traditionally hand-painted as temporary works of art on women’s hands and feet to celebrate weddings and other special occasions.
  • Luxe cube shaped ottomans in rich velvet feature today’s hottest colors, including champagne, ocean blue and black with jewel button details.

Midwest-CBK, a national design leader in holiday, home décor, gifts, candles and outdoor living, is proud to bring independent retailers more Design, Style and Sparkle than ever before, through exclusive designs and best-selling formats. New introductions feature excellent prices and terms designed to boost your margins; an experienced, dedicated sales team to assist you at the store level; award-winning display ideas; a drop ship program to provide incremental décor sales; and a new Web site providing 24/7 access to account history and online ordering.
