NY NOW Offers Exclusive “Market Readiness” Training

Exhibitors participating in the summer 2013 edition of NY NOW®, The Market for Home & Lifestyle (formerly NYIGF®) have exclusive access to a four-part “Market Readiness” program, addressing marketing and selling strategies, tradeshow operations and lead follow-up. The series, which is produced jointly by NY NOW and Right Angle Strategies, includes three pre-show webinars, one post-show webinar and free, 15-minute business consultations at market.

“This program addresses the basics, as well as more advanced techniques for tradeshow preparation and success, making it worthwhile for both new and returning exhibitors,” said Christian Falkenberg, NY NOW director and GLM senior vice president. “Plus, there is information specific to the new show layout, and how exhibitors can best take advantage of being part of NY NOW’s four new product collections.”

The webinars will be produced jointly by NY NOW and Right Angle Strategies, a business strategy and coaching consultancy lead by gift and home industry veterans Stu Teller and Laura Blunt. As an added benefit, Right Angle Strategies will conduct free, in-booth 15-minute business consultations at market for all webinar participants.

Three pre-show webinars will focus on pre-show marketing, sales techniques and tradeshow operations. The fourth and final webinar, which will be held one week after NY NOW, will address market follow-up.
