Quincy, WA – It was the third time she had the dream. While on vacation in Oregon, Charlene Sherman, of Quincy, received a text from her friend Carrie Weber. Weber had another dream of turning the Murphy’s building in Quincy into a gift shop.

When Sherman got home from her trip, the two met with the owner of the building, and after getting approval, Weber and Sherman opened Sage. The artisan shoppe combines Weber’s dream of having a gift shop with Sherman’s love of baking and desire to open a deli and espresso shop.

The historical building, known for its tall “Murphy’s” sign on top of the roof, has given some people the impression the building was once a radio station.
