Saddleback Memorial Gift Shop a Welcome Place for Shoppers
Laguna Woods, CA – A hospital may seem an unlikely place to do one’s Christmas shopping. But Saddleback Memorial’s gift shop is fast becoming a destination for some shoppers.
The 40-year-old shop received a facelift last year as part of the hospital’s Design for Healing renovation. Since reopening in an expanded space in November 2013, sales have doubled, the store’s buyer, Janet Pace, said.
“It’s all-in-one shopping, and it’s better than anything you can get at the malls,” Pace said. “And it’s for a great cause.”
