January FINDS offers new resources

(DALLAS) –– Dallas Market Center, the world’s largest wholesale merchandise resource, today announced that the FINDS Dallas Temp Show will expand in January and offer buyers more new products than ever before. Merchandise will be presented in gift, home and apparel categories. The FINDS Dallas Temp Show will take place January 16 – 19 during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, which is Jan. 14–20, 2009.

The FINDS Dallas Temp Show has grown to almost 600,000-square-feet showcasing leading products in the following categories: Collegiate FINDS, Design FINDS, Fashion FINDS, Furniture FINDS, Home FINDS, KidsWorld FINDS, Lighting FINDS, Paper FINDS, Red Haute FINDS, and Cash & Carry FINDS. New for January are Christmas & Floral FINDS (formerly the Holiday & Home Expo temporaries) and Hill Country FINDS.

In addition, the three finalists from “The Next Big Thing” product search contest will exhibit in the FINDS area. These finalists will be chosen by a panel of judges from trade and consumer publications as well as Dallas Market Center representatives for their unique, innovative product design and concept. They will receive complimentary airfare, hotel accommodations and a 10×10 booth to show their product. The winner, selected during the show based on product design, innovation and trade space presentation, will be announced on Saturday, January 17, 2009. The winner will receive a prize package worth more than $10,000 including exhibit space at the Dallas Market in June 2009, a feature profile in one of Dallas Market Center’s award-winning custom publications, consultations from leading industry experts regarding branding, public relations, visual merchandising and much more.

Buyers who shop FINDS will have an opportunity to win $1,000 each day in the Shop FINDS Giveaway. If they meet the minimum purchase order of $250 with any FINDS exhibitor, the buyer can enter into the drawing each day. Buyers must be present to win. Drawings will be held in different FINDS locations each day.
