WILLIAMSBURG Announces New Licensing Partnership with Royal Heritage Home
WILLIAMSBURG will kick off a new licensing relationship with Royal Heritage Home, a leading marketer of fine bedding, at the New York Home Fashions Market, March 14-18. Royal Heritage Home will expand the WILLIAMSBURG top-of-the-bed program and offer iconic WILLIAMSBURG designs including Garden Images™ and William and Mary Matelasse.
Royal Heritage Home’s WILLIAMSBURG collection will include comforters and matching accessories, associated window décor, matelasse bedding, and a new sheet program. Products will be based upon WILLIAMSBURG fabrics produced by PK Lifestyles, a division of P/Kaufmann, and inspiration found within Colonial Williamsburg’s archive collections.
The WILLIAMSBURG bedding program reflects the collaborative efforts of design experts who specialize in the world of bedding, fabrics and design traditions. Jim Easton, vice president for products of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, is looking forward to the official start of this new relationship. “Bedding is a cornerstone of the WILLIAMSBURG brand. Our new relationship with Royal Heritage Home will bring exciting growth opportunities to the business, and we’re thrilled to begin a long-lasting partnership with such a fine company.”
“I am proud to be associated with the WILLIAMSBURG Program. Royal Heritage Home plans to offer current and new WILLIAMSBURG bedding patterns with the exceptional customer service for which our company is known,” said Michael Kaplan, president of Royal Heritage Home. “We look forward to meeting retailers of WILLIAMSBURG bedding at the Home Textiles Market.”
