Total online shopping cart sales placed by retailers to artists through Wholesalecrafts.com’s online marketplace for April, May, and June 2011 came in at $886,763 – a whopping 19.49% increase over 2010, and the highest recorded second quarter sales amount to date. 3,556 total orders were placed online – a 12.21% increase from 2010, and the highest number of second quarter orders ever recorded. The web service also reports 301 new retailers enrolled, for a total of 19,655 retailers enrolled and 1,243 current artist members to date.
Total online sales for the first half-year of 2011 totaled in at $1,715,568 – a 15.97% increase over 2010, and the highest recorded first half-year sales amount to date. February, March, April, May and June 2011 were all record-breaking months, boasting the highest sales amounts ever recorded for those months, with May being the biggest sales month of the year so far, coming in at $316,858.
