Calypso Studios Bendi-Bandz Wire Headband Launch Exceeds Expectations

Calypso Studios introduced their newest product during the January show circuit. While the product was not available to ship until recently, many styles of the new Bendi-Bandz were sold out by the time the product arrived at the warehouse on February 3. To date, Calypso Studios has sold 25,000 Bendi-Bandz.

Calypso employees demonstrated the benefits of Bendi-Bandz at each show the company attended in January. For buyers who were not able to attend such shows, Calypso Studios uploaded a variety of “how to” videos on YouTube. These videos explain the Bendi-Bandz and demonstrate several ways to wear.

While all of the 14 styles are out of stock, Calypso Studios expects to receive their next shipment of Bendi-Bandz before the end of the month. The next shipment will include over 27,000 of the new accessory, almost 1/3 of which are already allocated to retail locations throughout the country. What are Bendi-Bandz?

Calypso Studios’ newest fashion accessory, Bendi-Bandz are flexible and versatile headbands. A bendable wire runs from one end to the other and is sewn inside patterned fabric. The user can simply twist the headband into place, and it will hold all day. The thin inner wire keeps the desired shape and makes it adjustable for any head size. Pain free and fashion forward, Bendi Bandz can also be twisted into a bracelet, arm band, or neck tie.

The Bendi-Bandz are $2.50 wholesale and have a $5.99 suggested retail value. An assortment is available for $140 and includes 42 wire headbands (3 of each of the 14 styles), a metal tree display, and a header card. Each piece comes tagged individually.
