IGES growing Made-in-America section, offering seminar on the movement

The International Gift Exposition in the Smokies unveiled a Made-in-America section in the Seiverville Convention Center for the 2014 show to help meet a growing demand for U.S-made products from both retailers and wholesalers.

Buyers met the new show category with such enthusiasm, it will be grow by more than 25 percent for the 2015 IGES show, which is set for Sevierville, Tennessee, from Nov. 3-6 and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, from Nov. 4-8.

That expansion includes a special seminar, titled “Lunch & Learn: Selling Made in America is Good Business,” at the Sevierville Contention Center Ballroom from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. It will led by Diane Sulg, president of CRAFT, the trade organization for craft retailers and wholesale artists, and founder and co-chair of American Craft Week.
